YOU CAN HELP IF YOU TRIED
Can one person slow global warming????? Yes! Us along with scientists, businesses and governments can creat paths to cut carbon emissions.
*Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
*Use less heat and air conditioning
*Change your light bulb to compact fluorescent
*Drive less and drive smart
*Buy energy efficient products
*Use less hot water
*Use the "off" switch
These are just some of the things we can all do to help our Earth. If we all do a little each day that will be GREAT!!

MY CANDIDATE......HILARY CLINTON
....HILARY CLINTON
1)The frist reason and the reason I think is most important is education. She feels the way I do. That we haven't done enough to help support our students.
2)I also think pro-choice is a good way to go with abortion. Like she says being pro-choice doesn't mean you are pro-abortion but are willing to support the choice of any woman.
3)Her point on maternaty leave is a great one. "Parents shouldn't have to make a choice on being a good or a good worker". I strongly believe we have the right to take time off when it's for our children.
4)My fourth reason is that, Hilary believes in Global Warming. I know she wants to help stop it and to make people more aware. Which is a great thing to do.
5)She knows when she has made a mistake. That mistake was her vote on the war. It was a mistake. I also like the way she says "I was misled by "false" intelligence on Iraq's weapons of mass destruction presented by the Bush administration. She has opened her eyes and that is what makes her a even better CANDIDATE!!

THE FIRST PART LAST
This book was great one. Because it takes us into the life of a young man. We get to see how a boy grows up into a man. I liked the book because it's not about I girl. We now know that maybe there are men out there who take responsibilty for there child. But it also brings up a question about. Why when we see a young man with a baby we think it's cute but, when we see a young girl with a baby we think the opposite??? We think she is way too young, that why didn't she protect herself, all bad things. Well that is a whole other topic. I did love the book and I would recommend it to all those single fathers out there.

Well to start this response off, I LOVED the book. It taught me to be a better mother, to love all I have because there are people out in the world who have less. I know now not to give up on my dreams. With this book, I learned the troubles that people go through to have their dreams come true. The book was great and a bit sad. The ending was not so good; I would of liked if Enrique had his daughter with him. The discussion was also good. I believe it was the best we have had so far. We covered a lot of important topics, such as immigration, the Mexican-U.S. borders, and the so called 'American Dream', and the never ending love that grows between mothers and their children. I just hope the next book is as good as this one because I like the fact that a book can teach me so many things about myself and who I want to be in life.
